TRUST

Sue O’Donnell. 28.01.21

“ ‘Who can out-think God and instruct Him? However we have been given the mind of Christ, so we know how He views things’.” (1 Corinthians 2 v 16 The Truth)

Place God at the centre of life

So as to enter upon trust.

We must trust!

Trust in the truth which is revealed in Christ Jesus.

Trust in His wisdom teaching us.

Trust in Jesus’ victory at the †.

Trust He will send us the Holy Spirit.

Trust in the Spirit’s ability to develop us,

Always helping us to pray.

Trust in the outcome of prayer,

Tapping into the source of life.

Trust in the mystery of the Trinity.

Trust in the marvel of the Holy Eucharist.

“Yes, the Sovereign LORD is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, He brings His reward with Him as He comes. He will feed His flock like a shepherd.” (Isaiah 40 v 10 NLT)

Trust in the living Word of Christ Jesus.

Trust in the happiness arising from His holiness.

Trust in the wellbeing of body, soul and spirit we inherit in faith.

Trust in the peace from the release of our sinfulness.

Trust in coming to the throne of mercy accompanied by Christ Jesus.

Trust in the prompting, persuasion and correction of the Holy Spirit.

Trust in the supreme sovereign authority of the Almighty Trinity.

Trust in all their work on our behalf.

Trust in the blessings of a heaven here on earth.

Trust in the inadequacy of foolhardy independence.

Trust in every godly solution presented to us.

Trust in the Lord God, active within every scientific study.

Trust that all the way to heaven can be heaven.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You, alone O LORD, will keep me safe.” (Psalm 4 v 8 NLT)

“Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.” (Psalm 143 v 8 NLT)

“Who is able to advise the Spirit of the LORD?” (Isaiah 40 v 13 NLT) No-one! Please pray to gain spiritual wisdom through universal, holy truth.

“Who knows enough to give Him advice or teach Him?” (v 13) No-one! Please pray to develop a sense of trust.

“Did someone teach Him what is right or show Him the path of justice?” (v 14) No, of course not! Please pray expecting to learn from holy wisdom and truth.

“To whom can you compare God?” (v 18) No-one and nothing! Please pray to so know, love and serve Him daily, our trust will grow and grow. Amen.
